Systemic Change Through Collaboration

CIS builds bridges between communities, schools, and institutions, fostering trusted relationships and a unified vision for change. By navigating ecosystems and breaking down silos, we work collaboratively with diverse partners to align efforts and co-create solutions. This approach allows us to transform fragmented systems into integrated frameworks that prioritize equity and justice for all.

We lead these efforts through our Single System of Support Framework (SSoSF), designed to provide comprehensive and sustained support for communities facing systemic challenges. Our work creates coordinated systems that deliver effective solutions, from education and economic mobility to housing stability and social justice. The SSoSF ensures that services are not fragmented but are aligned to provide continuous support across multiple areas, such as housing, education, and healthcare.

A core element of the Single System of Support Framework is the No Wrong Door service delivery model. This model guarantees that no matter where an individual or family seeks help, they are connected to the appropriate services and resources without getting lost in a maze of bureaucracy. Whether a family reaches out to a school, healthcare provider, or local community organization, the No Wrong Door model ensures they can access the support they need from any point of entry. It eliminates service silos and makes the system more user-friendly, responsive, and equitable.
